COURSE DESCRIPTION
You can expect multiple barriers with stretches of grass, dirt, gravel, pavement, and a short and sweet sand pit. There’s some elevation with punchy climbs and fast descents, couple nice straightaways to put down power, and a good amount of tight technical features to keep you on your toes. This course is an all-arounders delight.

RAFFLE
Our big raffle will take place after the final podiums of the day. Most likely between 5pm-5:30pm. To be eligible you must be registered to race Zaaldercross. Your race numbers will be your raffle ticket number. So if you triple up like Landon Farnworth does, your chances will be better! If you got a bunch of kids, sign them all up! You must be present to win. No giving your race number to a teammate, friend, or family member. The entire idea is to encourage as many people to stick around throughout the day.
SOME IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
1) Helmets are mandatory at all OBRA-sanctioned races. Make sure to bring one and wear it any time you are on your bike.
2) Follow proper race etiquette. Be courteous to other riders on the course, especially when passing/lapping slower riders. Make slower riders aware of your intent to pass in a friendly, non-intimidating manner. Be patient and wait until there is enough room to pass. When passing, leave plenty of room and don’t cut off riders. Be extra careful around junior riders.
3) Race defensively and within your limits. This is not the world championship of cyclocross racing! Prior to your race, pre-ride the course to familiarize yourself with technical sections and hazards along and on the course. If you don’t manage to pre-ride the course, ride a bit more conservatively on the first lap and go harder on the next lap.
4) Dogs are not allowed at Alderbrook Park.
OBRA and the organizers of this race do not provide insurance coverage for injuries that occur at the race. The costs related to those injuries are the responsibility of the individual participants. Helmets must be worn at all times while on a bike. Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason.
